Kate is a Senior Associate in the Local Government and Environment and Planning Team. She regularly provides advice in relation to both district and regional resource management matters, including working with local authorities on planning processes, resource consent applications, local government matters and providing strategic advice.
Kate has particular expertise in complex consenting matters (acting for both local authorities and private developers) and judicial review proceedings.
Kate has appeared before council hearing panels, the Environment Court and High Court on various local government and environmental matters.
Kate is a member of the Canterbury-Westland branch committee of the Resource Management Law Association.
