Christina is a Senior Associate in our national Dispute Resolution team, specialising in regulatory and insurance litigation. An experienced litigator, she has appeared as lead counsel in the District Court, High Court, Court of Appeal as well as various specialist tribunals.
In the regulatory field, Christina has extensive experience in professional disciplinary proceedings, coronial inquests and Royal Commissions of Inquiry. She also regularly defends parties in complex regulatory prosecutions and advises regulators on their statutory obligations.
Prior to joining Wynn Williams, Christina worked as a Judge’s Clerk for the Hon Justice Rebecca Ellis before relocating to Melbourne to join a large commercial litigation and dispute resolution practice. On returning to New Zealand, she worked as a barrister employed by Simon Mount KC, Kerryn Beaton KC and Anne Toohey, working on a range of complex civil, regulatory, public and criminal litigation.
