Katie is a highly experienced and skilled corporate and commercial lawyer with expertise across a broad range of transactions. This includes public and private capital markets transactions, fund establishment, as well as corporate governance matters. She is also involved in New Zealand’s start-up and responsible / impact investment ecosystems, advising both founders and investors in these areas.
Katie also has extensive experience with shareholder arrangements, employee share schemes, and commercial contracts, meaning she regularly advises clients on their day-to-day legal matters.
Clients hold Katie in high regard and value her commercial and solutions focused approach. Her interpersonal skills, understanding of a client’s business and her all-round legal ability makes her a valuable member of any team.
Prior to Wynn Williams, Katie’s career has included time at leading firms in London and Auckland.
