Kate is a Special Counsel in the local government and environment & planning team, acting for both regional and district councils and private clients on complex resource management issues.
She specialises in the Resource Management Act 1991 as it relates to planning and resource consents and enforcement – including due diligence for commercial matters.
Additionally, Kate has significant experience in local government and administrative law, including judicial review proceedings.
Kate serves as treasurer on the Resource Management Law Association’s Christchurch Branch Committee.
