About the opportunity: 

We are looking for an ambitious commercial property lawyer (3+ years PQE) to join our team based in Ōtautahi Christchurch. This is a fantastic position which will see you working alongside highly skilled and experienced lawyers and with some exciting and iconic New Zealand businesses, local government and not-for-profit clients across a broad range of work. You will also have the opportunity to work with our front-end Construction Law Partner on small building contracts.  You’ll learn to tackle a variety of matters with the support of senior members of the team and you’ll be well supported in developing the skills required to be a key part of shaping the growing practice. Workstreams will include property acquisitions and disposals, assisting our corporate team with property due diligence as needed, assisting with business as usual leasing work as well as bespoke leasing matters, subdvision and development work, related property financing workstreams.
