About the opportunity:

This is a rare opportunity for an ambitious senior lawyer with a keen interest and proven experience within the Property and Private Client space. You will be joining our well-established Property and Business Advisory team, and this role offers a genuine career progression opportunity for the right person.

You will have sound experience in advising clients on asset planning and protection including the formation and administration of trusts, wills, enduring powers of attorney and all associated personal matters.  Opportunities to work with long standing clients of the Firm on intergenerational estate planning will also present themselves

Like most lawyers in the private client sphere, you may have had extensive experience within the residential property space, there is an opportunity for this role to assist with the mentorship and supervision of a thriving residential property team.

Additionally, if you bring the expertise to the role, you would have the opportunity to advise on a range of property law services that may include rural property sale and purchase transactions, leasing matters, residential subdivision and property development or acting for local government clients.

From time to time, your expertise may be drawn upon to advise on trust transactional or restructure matters in support of clients of our Relationship Property and Civil Litigation teams.

What we are looking for:

Our preferred applicant will have 7+ years PQE experience, proven technical ability, exceptional attention to detail and an excellent grasp of all areas of law relevant to private client practice.

You’ll enjoy the independence of leading matters and the responsibility of supervising and mentoring less experienced members of the team, you will be personable and have a maturity that belies your years.

You’ll also understand the importance of excellence in client service and appreciate the value of relationships, both within and outside of the Firm.
