Wynn Williams is delighted to announce that Board Chair and Corporate Partner Hayley Buckley has been appointed to the 2024 Board of Directors of State Capital Group (SCG), a worldwide network of premier independent law firms.
Buckley is a highly accomplished lawyer and leads Wynn Williams’ corporate advisory and M&A practice. She is one of the country’s leading lawyers for domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, acting for large corporates, private equity investment funds and managers in management buy-outs.
Buckley is also the market leader in New Zealand for equity crowdfunding. She was heavily involved in the policy phase of the securities legislation to give effect to equity crowdfunding in New Zealand.
She was also selected as the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX) future director for 2020 and 2021. Wynn Williams’ Managing Partner Ash Hill says Buckley’s strategic leadership qualities and the value she brings to the Board table are unequivocal.
Her appointment is for a three-year term, during which time she will further build the strength and relevance of the SCG network.
