Hayley is one of the country’s leading lawyers for domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions acting for large corporates, private equity investment funds and managers in management buy-outs. Hayley’s strong international experience and deep governance expertise sees her valued for her strategic advice and ability to balance multiple stakeholder interests in complex sale transactions. Hayley also advises on some of the largest complex commercial contracts in the market. Hayley is the market leader in New Zealand for equity crowdfunding. She was heavily involved in the policy phase of the securities legislation to give effect to equity crowdfunding in New Zealand.

Hayley has notable experience in the logistics sector and education sector, and regularly advises on some of the country’s largest transport, storage, logistics and supply chain transactions and complex 3PL and 4PL commercial contracts underpinning the industry.

Hayley was selected as the New Zealand Stock Exchange (NZX) future director for 2020 and 2021. This prestigious appointment is public acknowledgment of her strategic and governance abilities.
